Minister Stephen L. Washington
He is the sixth of eight children born to Elzie Washington and Betty Mae Smalls Washington. He was raised in Largo, Florida and attended Seminole Senior High School. He graduated from Albany Technical College in 2001 with a degree in A/C and Heating Technology and again in 2012 with a degree in Electrical Systems Assistant and Technician. In 2015, Minister Washington received a degree in Welding and Business Management. He married to Valerie Washington. They have two sons, three daughters, three granddaughters and three grandsons.
He received the Holy Ghost in 1989 on Thanksgiving Day at the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. At the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc., he served as a deacon, President of the Young Adult Choir, Sunday School Superintendent, and Sunday School Teacher. In 1996, he relocated to Albany, Georgia where he currently serves as Chief Minister at The Temple of Refuge, EPC under the leadership of Apostle D. G. Taylor Sr. Minister Washington’s earnest desire is to live and abide in the will of God.
